Odds Concept boutique hosted a benefit event on May 19th, 2022, to support the future of Ukrainian designers and artists struggling due to the war.
Pieces from over 20 talented designers such as TTSWTRS, Zhilyova Lingerie, Malva Florea, Kofta, Omelia Atelier, Ruslan Baginskiy, Ganor Dominic, POCHE, Nue, and Natasha Zinko among others, were available for purchase.
The event featured work from talented Ukrainian artists who donated their works to Ukrainian ID, a foundation founded by Nataliia Zabolotna, helping to raise funds to support, treat, and rehabilitate injured and traumatized women and children and buy important medical machines for the largest children's hospital in Ukraine.
Donated artwork from well-known Ukrainian artists such as Ola Rondiak, Tetiana Kalivoshko, Oksana Mas, and Lina Condes was displayed throughout the store for a silent auction.
Guests had the option to support by purchasing various forms of art, including avant-garde clothing, physical art, and non-fungible tokens (NFT), or to donate their preferred amount to the cause.
Oksana Mas (an artist who recently sold a complex, important art piece through Sotheby's) presented her colorful & imaginative eggs. Her exhibit is still available at Odds for a few more weeks, so stop by to witness the work of these talented artists.
Digital Twins presented POCHE NFT with their rings and earrings. The purchaser would receive the physical jewelry and digital image.
To add to the night, Odds created a one-of-a-kind collection of T-shirts that read, "Make Love, Not War," and proceeds from this collection will be donated to Ukrainian artists and designers. This collection is still available in store.
Through all these methods and direct donations, we can provide funding to help Ukrainian brands so that they can continue to produce new collections.
Guests dressed in formal attire as they shopped, sipped cocktails, viewed art, and chatted with other guests.
EatUp Events curated two delicious cocktails for the guests with Flor de Cana Rum called “United we Stand” & "Divided We Fall,"
Tunes from amazing Ukrainian DJs, Kyrina & Jey Richman, were enjoyed throughout the night.
At the peak of the night, Ukrainian flags were handed out as Angelina Statieva gifted our guests a beautiful live performance of the Ukrainian anthem.
It is safe to say that these artists and the rest of Ukraine continue to need our support. Liza Naumova, Tatiana Zabora, the Odds team, and those in attendance are committed to this cause.
